Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to have your data deleted from AdPilot, including anything we obtained through Facebook Login or the Meta Marketing API. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes the same rights in a wider context.
1. How to request deletion
AdPilot does not yet offer self-serve account deletion inside the app. To request deletion, email office@shuhaimarketing.ca from the email address on the account with the subject line Data deletion request.
Tell us which of the following you want, so we do not delete more than you intend:
- Disconnect Meta only — we revoke and erase your Meta tokens and the ad data we cached from them, and your AdPilot account stays open.
- Delete everything — the account, its workspaces, and all data tied to them.
We confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, as committed in the Privacy Policy.
2. Revoking access from Facebook
You can also cut AdPilot off from the Meta side at any time, without waiting for us. In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, find AdPilot, and choose Remove.
That immediately invalidates our access token, so AdPilot can no longer read or change anything in your ad account. Note that this revokes access but does not by itself erase what we already stored — email us as described above if you also want that data deleted.
3. What gets deleted
- Meta credentials: user access tokens, long-lived tokens, Page tokens, and system-user tokens tied to your connection.
- Ad data we cached: account, campaign, ad-set and ad records, insight snapshots, audience and pixel metadata, and lead-form metadata pulled from your Meta ad accounts.
- Agent conversations: chat history and the prompts and answers stored alongside it.
- Creatives and uploads: generated images, briefs, copy, logos, and reference photos you uploaded.
- Account records: your profile, workspace, brand profile, team memberships, and settings.
4. What we keep, and why
A small amount of data outlives a deletion request because the law requires it or because of how backups work:
- Billing records held by our payment processor — 7 years, a Canadian tax requirement.
- Backups — deleted records roll out of our backup window within 30 days and are not restored into the live system.
- Audit-log entries needed to show what was changed in an ad account — purged 12 months from the action date.
None of this retained data is used to advertise to you or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
5. Data we never had
AdPilot reads advertising performance data. We do not receive the personal information of people who saw or clicked your ads, and we do not store the contents of Meta lead forms submitted by your customers. If you need those deleted, that request goes to Meta, not to us.
6. Questions
Email office@shuhaimarketing.ca. If you are not satisfied with how we handled a request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your local data-protection authority.
